Infested Angel History

Origin and Early Years (2019-2020)

Infested Angel materialized in the darkened alleys of Birmingham in 2019. The band was conceived by guitarist/vocalist Andy and drummer Pat, united by a shared vision of crafting a sonic manifestation of misery, mental illness, hell, and the darkest corners of the human psyche. Their raw, unfiltered expression found a home in the heart of the UK metal scene.

Debuting the Abyss: "Nourish Me, Satan" EP (2021)

In 2021, Infested Angel thrust themselves into the limelight with the release of their debut EP, "Nourish Me, Satan." The record, laden with guttural vocals and blistering riffs, served as an aural journey into the depths of despair, earning the band recognition among enthusiasts of extreme metal.

Revelation of Submission: "Submit to Death" EP (2022)

Building upon the momentum, 2022 witnessed the unleashing of "Submit to Death" EP, a relentless follow-up that solidified their sonic identity. Infested Angel showcased their unapologetic exploration of misery, grappling with mental illness, and plunging into the abyss of existential torment.

Live Onslaught and Festival Dominance (2019-2023)

Infested Angel brought their sonic onslaught to revered venues, leaving an indelible mark on stages like The Gryphon in Bristol, Fenton in Leeds, Paradiddles in Worcester, and Tap 'N' Tumbler in Nottingham. The band's fervor extended to festivals, including standout performances at Eradication Festival (2021 and 2023), UK Slam Fest (2022), Counterstrike Metal Festival (2022), and Beastly Bristol Early May Weekender (2023).

Dynamic Lineup and Europe Tour (2019-2024)

The current lineup, featuring Andy (guitar/vox) and Pat (drums), has undergone bassist transitions. Tom contributed to the first two EPs, while Phil took up the bass duties for shows in late 2022 and 2023. For their Europe tour with death metal legends, Vader and Toxaemia they instead went as a duo delivering the same wall of sound experience they've accustomed UK audiences to.

Debut full-length: "Threnodies to Eternal Despair" (2025)

Excitement brews as Infested Angel has unleashed their full-length album, Threnodies to Eternal Despair, captivating listeners with a deeper plunge into the themes that define their desolate sonic narrative. The band remains steadfast in their commitment to exploring the bleakest corners of the human experience, offering a harrowing yet cathartic journey through their music.
